It’s my favourite book series. So much so that I have no idea what part of my personality is my own, and what is Pratchettian.
Also, if you need pointers as where to start (or anything, really), you’re most welcome over at r/discworld.

In a parallel vein, but with a space setting Douglas Adams Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy. They are different and distinct, but there’s a common thread to the sense of satire and humour.
BTW – Good Omens is worth reading, collaboration between Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman.
Other people who’s names escape me have made attempts – there’s a reason Discworld was up there for so long.
His stuff is multi-layered, there’s the surface slapstick, the obvious humour, the witty dialogue, then there’s the satire and the social commentary that’s bubbling under the surface but usually not too “hit you on the head” with messaging. But it’s non-judgemental, and more observational.
I’m sorry, can’t remember any of the other authors who write like this, and I may be doing them a disservice.

I have loved Unconventional Heroes by LG Estrella. Absolutely freaking hilarious.
