My grandmas out of commission with a broken arm and is in need of recs. I got her a kindle and stand and she’s just going through them like crazy so I’d like to set her up with a bunch of books.
She just read Project Hail Mary and LOVED it. She’s about to start Artemis. She’s not typically into sci fi but she liked this one and needs books that aren’t too emotionally heavy, slow paced etc.
Her usual genre is thriller/mystery . She doesn’t like romance but she’s no prude she just doesn’t like corny stuff.
Any suggestions ? I’ve been suggesting what I can but I can’t keep up with her pace to think of books she’d really like. Thanks in advance !
Other books she read recently and enjoyed:
The innocents, the adversary, galore and sweetland by Michael crummey
Dark Places by Gillian Flynn
Small things like these by Claire Keegan
Drive your plow over the bones of the dead by Olga Tokarczuk
