Fiction that was noticeably written by a psychologist/someone with a similar background

I’ve recently read *I who have never known men* by Jacqueline Harpman and her background in psychology was palpable. Same with the *Broken Earth* Series by N. K. Jemisin but I didn’t enjoy her other books.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.
