A Book about a Pandemic-based Apocalypse

Hiya everyone, I’m looking for a book that displays the end of the world in all its glory with a pandemic as the cause. I read A. G. Riddle’s The Extinction Files and thought that was pretty good. I’m looking for something kind of similar to that although with a greater emphasis on just survival and stuff and not so much the dystopian twist. Also I want to see the “beginnings” of the fall so nothing that just skips a few years into the apocalypse, but something that progressively shows how humanity collapses due to the disease.
