Literary fiction with 80’s/90’s nostalgia

I’m nostalgic for my American small-town childhood in the 80’s and 90’s, and haven’t really discovered any literary fiction centered around that time period–the small, suburban concerns of families dealing with neighbors, schools, friends, parenting, etc.

Does anything spring to mind?
