Please Help Me Find a Fantasy Book

Hello!

I am looking for a high fantasy series. I like an unexpected protagonist, preferably male and young, although that isn’t set in stone. I have recently read the Wheel of Time and I was left in awe. After that, I just cannot seem to pick up any other book. The only one that came close was the Belgariad. I loved the magic, the creatures, the characters, and the plot in both series’. I have read most of the popular book series’. Lastly, I would not like any dystopian series’ please. Malazan, Mistborn, Elantris, all of those I have heard of, but saw that they were dystopian. Malazan seems a bit too big for me. I would like a single main protagonist. I read Eragon before the Wheel of Time, and they were similar, so a book like Eragon is fine too. I am basically looking for a long literary masterpiece, like Eragon, Belgariad, Wheel of Time. Something similar to LOTR is ideal.

TL;DR

Need a book to fill the void of the Wheel of Time series, alike to the Belgariad, Eragon, WoT, Lotr, you get the gist.
