Hey guys!
I’m a Nigerian Facilitator who does staff training workshops for companies. Recently, I’ve been interested in including storytelling practices/ games from different cultures in my workshops in an attempt to expand my participants’ way of thinking.
There are some techniques I currently use from my own culture, but I’d love to know what education, facilitation or storytelling practices exist in other people’s cultures.
Are there any forums or books that you’d recommend for me to learn more about this?
If not, what’s a book that you’ve read, outside of your culture, that’s altered your worldview?
For example, someone recommended:
**”Every word is a bird we teach to sing: encounters with the mysteries and meanings of language” By Daniel Tammet.**
Which is a book about how different languages affect our thought processes.
Thank you in advance!
