Notorious scallywags in fiction

I’m looking for books, either children’s fiction or otherwise, that feature a character that could be described as a ‘scallywag.’ Huck Finn, for instance, or Davy in Anne of Green Gables or Lyra in His Dark Materials. Street urchins, mischief makers, pickpockets – and particularly children that exemplify this archetype. I’d be grateful for any suggestions.
