Like the title suggests, one of my friends was recently widowed very young (early 30s). I am looking for put together a care package of books for her to get lost in. However, there are caveats:
* No books about death or grief. She’s already reading a lot of self help books about death and grief with her therapist and it’s not my place to give her these kinds of books unless she asks.
* No romance or smutty books, for obvious reasons.
* No characters named Chris.
* Preferably fiction, but would be okay with non fiction.
For reference, these are the books I am planning to include already:
* I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpmann
* Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman
Suggestions welcomed!!!
