I’m going on a vacation, and I’d be curious if you have any fiction recommendations for books set in the following places:
Halifax, Nova Scotia
Reykjavik, Iceland
Belfast, Northern Ireland
Cork, Ireland
Portland/Weymouth/Dorset, England
I’m also going to Oxford, but I’ve already got two books I love set there!
I prefer fiction that isn’t sad and has happy endings. (Life is depressing enough! I’ll just read the news!) I do like fantasy and sci-fi, but that may not be the best when I’m looking for settings in REAL places! I’m not that picky with romances but ff or fm is my preference.
