Hi, I’m currently writing some short stories in a medieval fantasy setting and have little to no knowledge on medieval and ancient weapons, armor, tactics and warfare in general.
I specifically would like to know more about ancient and medieval european warfare and weaponry.
Are there any educational books about that sort of thing?

Look up the Osprey Press catalogue. They’re trying to detail the equipment of every army and campaign in history.
