I just finished “Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow” and reeeeally loved it. I also really enjoyed “The Vanishing Half” before that.
As I thought about returning it to the library and getting something new, I realized I really love investing time into characters over decades of their lives (specifically in more “current/modern eras”, like 1950s to present).
Does anyone have any suggestions that fit in that type of book?
I think being able to follow characters for what feels like so long (when it may only be 300-400 pages) is why I have always been so much quicker to devote time to a tv series vs a movie. But now I want this feeling in my dang books!
