I think the book is a masterpiece! It just hit me that I can’t have peace unless those around me are ok and not inclined to flip. Situations with consistency, clear rules and which encourage a kind of communal “something,” have got to be better for the sanity than this!
Could there ever be a middleground between the conditions the book was set in and the ones we inhabit here in America?
What would that even look like?
