Hey everyone,
I’m on the hunt for a captivating book series that starts off in a seemingly fictional world but eventually (could even be at the very ending of the series) reveals unexpected connections to our own reality. I love stories with intricate plots and gradual revelations that tie the narrative back to the origin of our world, humanity, etc.
If possible, please keep the suggestions spoiler free (although this is a spoiler in itself).
The one other requirement is that the series should be of great quality and highly regarded and praised.
I’m open to any genre—fantasy, science fiction, mystery, you name it—as long as the series has a mind-bending revelation that connects the fictional universe to our own.
