I’ve been trying to get into more nonfiction recently, and I have LOVED the writing style of Amanda Montell’s books. She writes in a conversational tone and imbeds her own personal stories while informing her audience about niche topics. So far, I’ve read *Cultish*, *Word Slut*, and *The Age of Magical Overthinking*, and I’m trying to find something similar. I’ve also read *The Anthropocene Reviewed* by John Green, which I also enjoyed for the same reasons! I considered reading *Dolls of Our Lives* by Mary Mahone and Allison Horrocks because I love the topic, but I’ve heard mixed reviews. Any ideas?
