So my friend and I have started bonding over reading A Secret History every night, basically we read 20 pages or so then hop on a call and discuss everything we’ve read lol. Anyway I’m not much of a reader but she is, and I don’t really know what books she likes other than booktok books and romantic ones etc, but we do like A Secret History, so what would be a good one to read for the both of us? Bearing in mind I am not much of a romance reader haha

If We Were Villains by M.L. Rio has a similar vibe to The Secret History. If she enjoys romance and you guys like this “dark academia” vibe, I think you’d also probably enjoy the Raven Boys series by Maggie Stiefvater. Lastly, I’d say that These Violent Delights by Micah Neveremer may be interesting for you two because it the “unhiged scholarly MCs with an unhealtjy relationship” vibes also present in TSH. Enjoy!
