The question but the book has to be the one you liked but it is so terrible that you wouldn’t wish upon your enemy to read it.
You read it and you wouldn’t reverse the fact because it was an *experience*. But it unlocked something insid you that should have remained locked ideally.
An example of this would be “A little life” which is exactly this.
For me, In the miso soup by Ryu Murakami. I picked it because I thought what the he’ll but it was more traumatazing than I thought it would be. And it unlocked the craving for reading trauma in me which I wish I could undo now.
