Hey all,
I‘ll travel to Peru soon and I like to read literature from the country I‘m in on vacation, so I‘m looking for recommendations on (translated) Peruvian literature.
My favourite genres are Weird Lit, Horror, and Magical Realism. Fav. authors are Julio Cortazar, Gabo Marquez, and Thomas Ligotti. But I‘m open to anything, really.
So far I‘ve only read Mario Vargas Llosa‘s _Aunt Julia and the Scriptwriter_. I liked it a lot, and even have a copy of _The Feast of the Goat_ on my shelf I‘m debating bringing with me. However, I‘m not too into politicial stuff, so I‘m unsure that and his other works will be for me.
Thanks in advance!

No every MVL is political. The Green House, for example.
