Obviously I’ve known how to read, just never had any interest in books. Then since Christmas I’ve read The Mother of all Behans and Homage to Catalonia. Currently I’m reading Quiet by Susan Cain. I’ve also started a Man’s Search for Meaning, but I’ve had to put it down for a little bit cause it’s very heavy (should have expected that really).
I like non-fiction that’s written with like story telling techniques (if that makes sense). Doesn’t have to be just constant facts but I do like to learn something from a book.
I’m also dyslexic so I’m quite slow at reading and find anything with more than like 200 odd pages very daunting. Any advice is greatly appreciated

In cold blood by Truman Capote would probably fit this criteria.
It’s one of the first true crime novels. Capote spoke to pretty much everyone involved and retells the story from start to finish. Not a particularly long book either
