Without getting into too many details I’m coming out to my grandmother later this year and I want to give her a book to help gently educate her.
My grandmother listens to allot of conservative news where she constantly hears how horrible trans people supposedly are, so I’m considering giving her: “You’re in the Wrong Bathroom!”: And 20 Other Myths and Misconceptions About Transgender and Gender-Nonconforming People by Laura Erickson-Schroth & Laura A. Jacobs.
However if there are other titles people recommend I’d appreciate it! Assume she knows basically nothing about trans people.

I would recommend “tomorrow will be different” by Sarah McBride. It’s more of an autobiography than an educational book, so it might be a bit less “preachy”. It’s about her relationship with her husband and their joint efforts to advance transgender rights. She’s also poised to become the first trans member of congress.
It has a foreword by Joe Biden (evidently there’s a family connection between them), which might be a bit off-putting if she’s a hardcore conservative.
Transitions: A Mother’s Story is a graphic novel that’s good about looking at it from the perspective of family and trying to understand what the process is for a loved one.
