Suggest me a good book that was written in the last seven years, very likely has a physical copy that I can probably get from a library, and has plenty of well written action scenes.

Having just finished Bullet Train, I’m looking for some books to help me, as a writer, improve my ability to write prose. Among other things, I want to improve my ability to write action scenes; hence why I’m looking for some examples to help me learn a few things.

I don’t mind having some stuff from as early as the nineties too, but I need examples of recently written stories too.
Plus, I wouldn’t mind some good examples of well written contemporary prose as well.

First Law series by Abercrombie has some of the best action scenes I’ve read. No one writes a fight quite as good as Abercrombie. It’s crazy

Omega Force series by Joshua Dalzelle. All the books are pretty short with multiple ground, air, and space based combat scenes. Plus they’re funny.
