Hi I’ve just started reading The Stranger Times (I say reading it’s on Audible as 2 kids under 4 a book is a no chance). I’m thinking of getting a copy of the book for my FIL birthday (and getting it signed hopefully as my husband has met the author and likely to bump into him semi regularly).
FIL is a big Jasper Fforde fan and I feel although only 3 chapters in the humour is on the same wavelength.
Anyone who has read more of the series or even both authors am I on the right track?
(Husband and has dad are not close, he got Ffordes first book as a gift from his dad many years ago, I read it and the majority of his other series but he has not so is no help!)
