What I’m looking for is something that gives off the special charm and feeling of a 1960s-1970s Italian film. These two songs particularly is what I’m trying to grasp at. A book in which it gives a sense of delicate and warmth. Of love and adventure. Ups and downs. After viewing a film called “The Libertine (1968) last night, I’m interested to see if there might be a book which can replicate this special charm.
The vibe I am looking came by these two songs:
Easy Lovers – Piero Piccioni
La Matriarca (The Libertine) – L’ Amore dice Ciao Armando Trovajoli
TLDR : Bossa Nova esque literature
