Heartbreaking book. Fiction

I’m looking for something to rip my heart out. I’m looking at general fiction more than like sci-fi, fantasy, romance etc. that being said I’d really love a story of unrequited love, or loving someone you shouldn’t. I’ve read A Little Life, and usually I struggle with TikTok books, but I’m not opposed. What should I read?
