I’m going on a couple of long haul flights soon and looking for some books to help keep me occupied. I usually prefer listening to audiobooks but have trouble listening to them when I’m sitting still, so book that are good both as paperback and audiobook would be great.
I tend to prefer books from the pov of just one person, with plenty of humour and my genre of choice is sci-fi, but happy to give anything a go. I also enjoy science/nature non-fiction.
Some of my favourites are:
Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman
The Martian and Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir
Old Man’s War by John Scalzi(also read all his other books)
The Bobiverse books by Dennis E Taylor
Everything written by Bill Bryson
The Hitchhiker’s Guide to The Galaxy and Last Chance to See by Douglas Adams
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!
