I’m about to finish the second book of the Cal Leandros series by Rob Thurman, and I’m enjoying it so much more than I expected to. I have a long flight tomorrow and would love to continue the series, but #3 isn’t on Libby. Any suggestions of something similar to bridge the gap for now?
I definitely like the paranormal aspect, but what’s really keeping me hooked is the relationships between characters— both the bond between the brothers and the found family with the people they meet. And I love the trope of “I will make fun of you but also kill for you, possibly at the same time”, if that makes sense.
