My grandma has always been a voracious reader but her eyesignt has declined to the point where she can’t read anymore.

My aunt has been downloading audiobooks for my grandma to listen to and her stipulations for an audiobook are as follows:

1.) there must be at least one crime/murder
2.) there must be a dog helping to solve the mystery (cadaver dog, police dog) but the dog must not get hurt
3.) the audiobook must be narrated by a man

Bonus points if the story is told from the dog’s POV

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    1. Here’s a few dog types to check out, maybe something will suit. I did listen to them but don’t remember the narrators.

      [The Search](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/7076706-the-search) by Nora Roberts

[Ryder Creed](https://www.goodreads.com/series/137360-ryder-creed) series by Alex Kava

[Neah Bay](https://www.goodreads.com/series/252252-neah-bay) series by Owen Laukkanen

[Timber Creek K-9 Mystery](https://www.goodreads.com/series/166057-timber-creek-k-9-mystery) series by Margaret Mizushima

In book 2 of the [Eve Duncan](https://www.goodreads.com/series/51419-eve-duncan) series by Iris Johansen there is a search and rescue team, they follow into book 2. It’s a good series, but not all of the books have a dog.
