I like reading dark stuff where I can relate to the idea of escapism as a female and I like to read painfully honest, raw reads. An example I’ll provide is My Year of Rest and Relaxation. Another I loved because of the themes and subject matter was Midnight Library by Matt Haig. I’m unhinged and don’t understand myself or my life and I’m a woman and i enjoy reading characters in which I feel some sort of understanding or connection in some way, and i enjoy a raw and gritty story. I have no triggers.
