Hi! I read Pachinko by Min Jin Lee at the beginning of the year and haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. I’d really like to find other historical fiction books that take place in/are about Japan, Korea, or China. (I’d also read something in Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, etc.) Thank y’all so much!

[Crazy Rich Asians](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/16085481) by Kevin Kwan is not historical but it is a great look into modern Singapore
Most of Lisa See’s books take place in China and they’re all excellent. My favorite is The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane.
