Doesn’t have to be sci-fi but that was the closest fitting tag. I’m a little burnt out with games and want to explore some side hobbies like reading books based on them. I haven’t played many of the major franchises like Mass effect and Halo and the books for those, while well reviewed, seem to be tie in prequels / side stories that would expect you to know the game stories. I am gonna read Bioshock Rapture as I HAVE played the first Bioshock so I have some needed context. I’m also probably going to read the Assassins creed novels that are more stand alone , such as Renaissance which directly adapts 2 ( 3’s novel is more of a side story so I may not understamd it ) . Anyway stand-alone novels or comics based around or similar to video games I may know of even if I haven’t played them all would be appreciated
