I was talking to venezuelan friends, they were telling of Us how the ideological machinery breaks the spirit, brainwash the public and ultimately controls them. Although they cannot identify them, there’s always an unseen “entity” behind everything.
I found it interesting that, it sounds familiar, think about it:
Tribes are exposed to unknown forces (nature) so they propose there’s an entity behind it (Gods) and eventually leaders seize the opportunity (prophets) effectively institutionalizing… religions.
I think I’ve noticed how easily it is for individuals to form collective ideas, people getting into teams follow their dynamics, you get into an interesting sub and adopt the slang, do you have a son? Tell me how many attitudes you learned from him or he from you, we are moldable as individuals and as crowds.
Anyway. My ideas are extremely basic and want material, books explaining why we behave like this, how is evolve.
