My daughter (14F) and I (40F) are looking for books or a book series to read together this summer. No graphic sex scenes and nothing overly violent. She loves science fiction and fantasy. I love historical fiction.
I understand there’s probably not a lot of common ground there and I’m willing to cater more to her tastes than try to reach a compromise. The problem is, I don’t know that genre well enough to find something good. She has really loved Keeper of the Lost Cities and Percy Jackson series in the past but has been in sort of a rut since then.
