I noticed that I come back a lot to the darker neil gaiman books/stories/poems, like The ocean at the end of the lane or october in the chair. I don’t really like hardcore horror, but I like the, I guess, creepy-gloomy halloween vibes, and I don’t know where to turn for that aside for Edgar Allan Poe or Lovecraft. Would love some suggestions, especially short stories
