Looking for books that will aid my technical ability in painting, material knowledge, how-to, basic principles, from starter level towards advanced.
I’m experimenting with using wooden panels, and bought MDF but later found out Hardboard has more preferable qualities, while also not knowing you have to seal a panel before applying primer. This is just an example, but it shows how going on my own without formal education leaves me at risk of being ignorant of the basics which might aid and benefit me enourmously.
I like the process of experimenting and finding out on my own but I also need a gust of wind in the back if I want to become a better painter.
