Hello, I read a book back in 2014-2018 that I can’t remember the name of nor the authors name :(. But I really want to read again. Wondering if any of you have read a book that goes along this storyline, trying to see if you all can help me find it.
It was based on the future were there was a lot of pollution and life was hard. They had this machines were one could “plug themselves in” and escape reality. Your body stayed like in a sleep mode and you would travel to another world were everything was perfect, unlike reality. If I remember correctly even this unreal world was crashing.
It has been years and details are hard to remember. There was also some kind of romance going on.
