**SPOILERS FOR BLOOD MERIDIAN AND CITIES OF THE PLAIN**
This is probably a very specific question but I’m hoping someone can give me some suggestions. I’m looking for books where, near the end, there is a time skip and one of the characters you’ve been following has grown older.
I’m asking this because I loved this concept in >!Blood Meridian and Cities of the Plain, where the Kid becomes and the Man and Billy gets older!<, because you can kind of put their journey into perspective and see how they’ve ended up.
