My girlfriends and I started a book club and have read 4 books so far.
Adding them to give you an idea of what we are looking for
1. If You Tell – Hardest book I have ever read. We still discuss it 5 months later. I had to skip chapters because it was so gut-wrenching but it stuck with us and we LOVED that aspect.
2. Unmasked – Pretty boring – felt like just a recap of a lot of stuff we all already know due to documentaries and podcasts.
3. Apples never fall – I didn’t think it was TERRIBLE. They did. Said it was the most boring book they have ever read.
4. Jar of Hearts – It was okay! I am more of a Non-Fiction person but I enjoyed it for what it was.
Did read Pretty Girls and LOVED that. Oh so great.
So I am looking for recommendations for books that really got in your head. Ones that you still think about. We have felt pretty let down by the last three books. We like Gregg Olsen a lot and Karin Slaughter as writers.
But I am really looking for books that were or almost were DNF
