Hello! As the title says, i haven’t read books since college and genuinely wanna get back into it.
My preferred genre or rather mood at the moment would be mystery / drama set preferably in 80s/90s OR science-fiction/futuristic but nothing “modern” if that makes sense? When i read i automatically picture scenes in my head, and i wanna immerse myself in a setting i’m unfamiliar with, hence the different time periods.
I’m guessing mystery / drama is a very common trope so i’m sorry if that gets asked often. It’s also why i added the “paranormal” on the side, it doesn’t have to be a realistic depiction but i don’t mind if it’s basic detective stuff if it’s entertaining. I also don’t mind if things are left to the reader to theorize or connect i actually love those kind of thought puzzles.
