I’ve been reading Julien Green’s work and I’m fascinated by his narration of events and scene composition also the things he chooses to write about like the deepest thoughts of the characters and their paranoias, i think his writing is a beautiful prose but his works seem to all be very dark and obsession seems like a current theme of his works. I’d like to read something just as rich in prose and provocations but that goes in a different direction then these dark themes.
