Are there any books with a good narration of fighting scene? I rarely read action thriller. I read Derek Landy books and I like his style of describing the fight scenes. It’s not too detailed and elaborated but not too vague either. I’m struggling to find a good book that give the fighting scenes fast-pace like it was in the movie, not into the long detailed but not too vague either (like Haunting Adeline, don’t get me wrong, I read that because I thought it’s gonna be filled with action-packed but turned out, it’s disappointing.) Hush Hush series by Becca Fitzpatrick fighting scenes are good too. My brother had Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk, but I didn’t have time to read it before it was sold by him.
Give me some recommendations. Preferably good narration on ample amount hand-to-hand combat. (I don’t want booktok mafia books, they’re mainly focusing on the romance. I want a good book about the dirty, dark, illegal and gory stuff of dark underground world if it’s about mafia).
Thank You.

Matthew Reilly does this really well. A lot of gunplay but some hand to hand thrown in as well. I’d recommend Ice Station and then go from there.
Old man’s war
Edit; sorry, didn’t read until after I commented. Old man’s war is action packed but with space battles, not a lot of hand to hand fighting (but does have some). Not likely what you’re looking for but a great book nonetheless.
