I’m in search of a book which would explain the following points to me:
1. History of economy and finance in China after ccp takeover. What were Mao’s plans, what exactly happened during the opening in the 70s/80s – today?
2. How is ownership carried out? How do banks work? How high are taxes? Why are Chinese state-companies more productive than their counterparts in other countries?
3. How confederal is China? (Regional and National state companies differences)
These are some of the big questions I have. An important criteria to me is the detailedness of the book. I would be really glad about some kind of graphs, statistics, different povs on the problem etc…
