It can be any genre.
Two years ago I read “The End of Men” by Christina Sweeney-Baird, then a few months ago I was falling asleep one night thinking about the book and decided to reread it and I still loved it a second time.
The plot is intriguing—a virus wipes out 99% of men worldwide, and we follow several characters in the U.K. such as the doctor discovering the virus, an anthropologist trying to keep her husband and toddler son safe, a government official making tough decisions, female scientists worldwide rushing to discover a vaccine.
The book also delves into how 99% of men dying affects international politics and it’s so cool.
I really love that book and I highly recommend it.
