My husband hasn’t been much of a reader since his Harry Potter days in elementary school. On the other hand, I’ve always loved reading. However, I convinced him to join me in reading ‘The Murder of Roger Ackroyd,’ and he really enjoyed it. He’s more inclined to read when we do it together rather than on his own. He mentioned that reading together helps him focus. We’re open to any genre except vampires/fantasy, as that’s not our thing. We both love a gripping story that keeps us on the edge of our seats, but nothing too long like to keep it less than 500 pages.
