Hi I have read The Great Gatsby and Catcher in the Rye. I’ve been trying to get into more classic books and just books in general. I enjoyed catcher in the rye quite a bit. I was wondering which should i read first? The Picture of Dorian Gray or Wuthering Heights and if they are “difficult” reads. My reading comprehension isn’t the best but i was still wondering if i could enjoy them. Other classic book recommendations are welcome!

I’ve read both as a pretty casual reader that has put down many classics before. My favorite of the two was Wuthering Heights, but I found Dorian Gray to be an easier read.
Withering Heights is amazing. I read it a few years ago and it was my favorite book that year by far. The Picture of Dorian Gray is pretty good too. I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult to read though. The more classics you read, the easier they become.
I haven’t read Wuthering Heights yet but I have read The Picture of Dorian Gray and I didn’t have a problem understanding it and I only read classics very occasionally
