Just to add a little to this suggestion, I absolutely hate YA, I think it’s boring! I’ve read a little of Neil Gaiman’s but I’ve never really gotten into fantasy- I’ve tried the genre a couple of times now and each time I’ve disliked it… But I’ll never give up, there must be one fantasy that I actually like out there.
I like the idea of dark fantasy (slightly inspired by those tiktoks, you probably know the ones) as it seems pretty cool, but yeah.
I read a lot of random books, main philosophy, 20th century literature, classical literature, sci-fi and whatever takes my fancy!
