Hi.
Hope you’re doing well.
Recently been listening to Patrick Stewart’s *Making It So* and I sense genuine sincerity and warmth from it and his stories about his childhood growing up in the north of England in a poor family and his theater stories are so fascinating and feel very vivid in the words he uses to describe them.
I tend to steer clear of memoirs which people claim feel has a lot of BS and narcissism from the author, but if it’s a charming author and the stories within are funny and it’s a relatively quick read (or listen), then perhaps I’m willing to at least give it a chance, but that’s not what I’m asking for here.
I don’t tend to read a lot of memoirs (because I’m very selective), but I like reading about people I particularly admire and I would like to hear your personal stories of reading (or listening) to them and perhaps you could have some helpful insights and suggestions.
