Suggestions for getting into new genres

I am 22 years old and I have recently picked up reading for enjoyment the last 2 years. I have only really read psychological thriller books, but have been growing tired after a couple books in a row of the copy and paste themes. I have never really read a romance or just fiction book and have been looking to get into these genres. I’ve also thought about fantasy, although I know those are hard to get into. I’ve read To Kill A Mockingbird in high school and from what I remember, I think I enjoyed it. I guess I’m looking for recommendations for someone trying to get into romance or just fiction books. Historical fiction has been something I’ve wanted to read, but have been scared of picking the wrong book and finding it boring. For reference, I have thoroughly enjoyed and rewatched all the Hunger Games, as well as Divergent if that helps with fantasy recommendations. Any suggestions for romance, fiction, fantasy or historical fiction are welcome.
