Looking for a non-fiction book, but not a self-help/preachy sort of a read.
Rather, something more research based that talks about a concept – would be great if it relates to sociology/ psychology/ even ethics
I’m a big fan of Oliver Sacks work, he’s a neurologist who writes about very strange cases he’s encountered when he practiced. The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat is what got me hooked on his readings.
Underland by Robert MacFarlane is a fantastic geological read about different subterranean landscapes that the author has personally experienced, including caves, underground catacombs, glaciers etc.
