I was wondering if anyone knows any good apocalypse books/novels about the beginning of the apocalypse? Where we can see the early stages, the moments before, and how the apocalypse plays out
I have a preference towards zombie/virus/natural disasters apocalypses, but anything works
Some books I’ve liked about this genre:
– The Fifth Wave
– TWD Comics
– Book series: The Last Survivors
Other media I’ve liked:
– All of Us are Dead
– World War Z & Train to Busan
– Crazies
– Contagion
– TWD and especially the first season of FDTWD
Looking for a female protagonists preferably? But again, anything works. The only thing I don’t want is a dog dying. If it’s a random dog, I will consider it, but a companion dog dying is a big no
