Suggest me a book about F-M rivalry where the female main character doesn’t do anything embarrassing

I want to read book about a rivalry between a female and a male main characters. Could be academic, could be workplace, could be between kingdoms, anything, could even be enemies. But I find in rivalry books the authors would often let (or make?) their female characters do something cringey and end up embarrassing themselves.

So suggest me a F-M rivalry book where the female character doesn’t do any thing embarrassing? They can end up together or not, it doesn’t matter. Thank guys.
